No. Starting on 24 January 2020, renewable energy projects are only eligible for Gold Standard certification if they are located in least developed countries (LDCs).
Are projects that store carbon in wooden building elements eligible for Gold Standard certification?
No. Afforestation and reforestation projects may be eligible, but avoiding deforestation (e.g. REDD+) is not.
