What does the process of Certification look like?

The basic steps of the certification process are as follows:

  • Plan project and hold Stakeholder Consultation
  • Preliminary Review by SustainCERT
  • Preliminary design approval
  • Third party validation conducted by an accredited validation and verification body (VVB)
  • Project design review by SustainCERT
  • Design certification

 

Once a project has been certified, the project will also have to be monitored, validated, and reviewed.
