There is no formal requirement for a VVB to submit a validation and verification workplan for review under GS4GG rules.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the project developer to ensure that all applicable rules are followed, notably:

1. The Gold Standard is notified of the commencement of the validation and verification and the indicative date for completion and submission (see Principles and Requirements 3.4.6.4 and 3.4.10.6) 
2. The VVB selected for the validation and verification is an approved GS VVB and is approved for the project type and pathway.  Please refer to this list to check
3. The project follows any rules on validation and verification timing – please refer to Principles and Requirements

The VVB is also responsible for following all applicable rules related to validation and verification, for example, addressing any FARs from preliminary review, validation or previous verifications.
